Our Drill prototype making

The Picture below is an idea that allows the motor to be safety inside the boat, it would be like a fishing rod where when the motor rotates, a wire would loop around the “wheel” and would then slowly lower the drilling pod into the water.

The drill bit

The picture above shows the drill bit that we will be using for our prototype testing, it will be used to drill into the prototype seabed in

our testing.

The Drill Pod #1

This was the first drill pod we made but the dimensions were not correct and the drill bit couldn't fit into the drill pod.

The Drill Pod #2

The second time we 3d printed the drill pod, the dimensions was just right for the drill bit to fit into the drill pod.
