Our Reeling System

We planned to use a reeling system to lower our drill into the seabed.
How it works
The wires of the drills will be wrapped around a PVC pipe.
One end of the PVC pipe will be supported by a holder by the other end of the PVC pipe will be connected to the geared motor.
The geared motor will spin the PVC pipe, unwrapping the wires and thus lowering the drill into the sea.
Two sets of wire from two different drill will be wrapped around the PVC pipe, and when the the pipe is spinning, both drills will be lowered at the same time.
The picture above shows the PVC pipe wrapped with wirefrom the drill pod.
